===========================================================

Comments added by Boris Semenov, NAIF/JPL, Mon Jun 25 12:17:13 PDT 2007

This file was made using the Cassini JPEF2EK and EKGEN (EK Generation)
programs that parse the Predicted Events File (PEF) and convert an
integrated sequence of spacecraft and instrument commands into the
SPICE DAS file architecture. A predictive and as-flown version for
each sequence is archived. The as-flown version is reintegrated with
   real-time commands.

File Contents
-----------------------------------------------------------

This Sequence EK file contains commands, ground events, subsystem
status and notes taken from the PEF. It also contains ISS mechanical
events (shutter and filter wheel movements) derived from the
Multi-mission Image Processing Laboratory (MIPL) database used to
process images. For a complete description of the files see the
   "document/ek/sis_ek_001_revc.pdf" file.

Data are stored in three separate files, all with the file extension
   "bes".

      1) commands, ground events and notes
      2) subsystem status
      3) ISS mechanical events

Usage
-----------------------------------------------------------

The data in the file may accessed via SPICE Toolkit EK subroutines or
examined using SPICE utility program INSPEKT. The Cassini project
has provided an INSPEKT startup script that contains queries found
to be useful during the mission. This script can be found at
   "document/ek/inspekt.asc".

Associated SPICE Kernels
----------------------------------------------------------

The information contained in the CASSINI_CMD table of the sequence
EK may be linked the corresponding command and parameter descriptions
contained in the CASSINI_CMD_DICT table in the command dictionary EK
(*.bdb). The corresponding command dictionary EK is noted in appendix
   1 of these comments.

To use EK files, a leapseconds kernel file (LSK file) must be loaded
into a program in order to support queries on the EK files containing
tables that include columns of type TIME.
