Orientation Data in the File
--------------------------------------------------------
 
     This file contains orientation data for three NAVCAM frames --
     ``SDU_NC_AXIS_IDEAL'' with respect to the
     ``SDU_NC_AXIS_STOWED_IDEAL'', ``SDU_NC_REFLECTION_IDEAL'' with respect
     to the ``NC_OPTICS_IDEAL'' and ``SDU_NC_IMAGE_OPNAV'' with respect the
     ``SDU_NC_IMAGE_IDEAL''.
 
     Orientation of the second and third of these frames
     (``SDU_NC_REFLECTION_IDEAL'' and ``NC_OPTICS_IDEAL'') has to be known
     in order to compute orientation of the NAVCAM image with respect to
     the spacecraft frame using camera pointing model for the case of ideal
     camera with OPNAV correction.
 
     Orientation of the first frame (``SDU_NC_AXIS_IDEAL'') is not used to
     compute NAVCAM image orientation but it was needed to computed
     orientation of the ``SDU_NC_REFLECTION_IDEAL'' frame, stored in the
     second segment this file.

Status
--------------------------------------------------------
 
     This file was created by Stardust DM&A group to support NAVCAM
     pointing geometry calculations. It can be used for spacecraft
     operations and science data processing support by all project science
     and engineering teams.
 
 
Pedigree
--------------------------------------------------------
 
     This file was generated by NAVCAMCK.PL process. This process takes a
     text file containing SCLK-tagged NAVCAM mirror angle values, computes
     OPNAV correction and mirror normal direction in the ideal NAVCAM
     optics frame using NAVCAMCK program and writes them to a CK file using
     MSOPCK program.
 
 
Time Coverage
--------------------------------------------------------
 
     This file contains three type 1 segments which store discrete pointing
     records for each time moments from the input text file. Unless input
     time used in the CK reader routine exatly matches one those time
     moments, pointing data will not be found in this CK file.
 
 
Usage Note
--------------------------------------------------------
 
     In order to use this file Stardust SCLK file, containing coefficients
     mapping Stardust on-board time to ET, standard LSK file, providing UTC
     to ET mapping, and Stardust FRAME definitions kernel file, containing
     definitions of frames used in the segment of this file, must be loaded
     into a user's program.
